The VH (Association of Universities of Applied Sciences) has reached an agreement with Stichting UvO (Publishers’ Organization for Educational Licenses), allowing universities of applied sciences to publish short excerpts of copyrighted content in readers or the digital learning environment (ELO) without prior permission. As a result, institutions are spared the burden of time-consuming administrative processes.

This arrangement, known as the 'Easy Access-regeling', includes details on the rights and obligations of universities of applied sciences, as well as the buyout fee per student. Zuyd University of Applied Sciences is also bound by this arrangement.
